Deployment Architecture on Neeve
Deployment model: Singleton (one collector per site) or Sidecar (attached to Node-RED instances).
Workload: Light-to-medium; scales with the frequency of data polling and complexity of on-edge AI logic.
Components: Edge Collector runtime, protocol drivers (BACnet/Modbus), and the Cloud Uploader.
Data flows: * Egress (Outbound): HTTPS (443) to app.bitpool.com.
Ingress (Internal): UDP 47808 (BACnet), TCP 502 (Modbus), or HTTP 80/443 (oBIX/Niagara).
Failure domains: If the pod loses connectivity, data is typically buffered locally (if configured) until the connection to the Bitpool Cloud is restored.
