Architecture
Deployment Architecture on Neeve
Deployment model: Singleton (one per site/namespace). Typically deployed alongside Niagara or Node-RED for local path testing.
Workload: Burst-heavy; idle during monitoring but high CPU/Network usage during active bandwidth tests or scanning.
Components: Go-based API server, React-based Dashboard, and a suite of networking binaries (iputils, nmap, iperf3).
Data flows: * TCP 8080: API and Web UI access.
ICMP/UDP/TCP: Various ports during active scanning or ping operations.
Failure domains: Stateless. If the pod fails, active diagnostic sessions are lost, but there is no impact on site-wide data traffic.
